Dosy2
A factory with 25 years of B2B-only sales opens its first direct-to-consumer channel, selling made-to-order products online.
The challenge: from traditional B2B to digital D2C
Dosy2 is a factory and woodworking shop specialized in nursery products that spent 25 years selling exclusively B2B, supplying retail stores directly. As e-commerce grew and digitally native brands squeezed the market, their wholesale orders shrank year after year.
They needed to open a direct-to-consumer channel without cannibalizing their existing retailer relationships — and with zero prior experience selling online.
What I built
- Custom PrestaShop store with a catalog designed for the end customer, not the distributor.
- Made-to-order product configurator: shoppers pick dimensions, finishes and materials before adding to cart.
- Spanish payment gateways: Redsys, Bizum, bank transfer. Non-negotiable for local conversion.
- Production sync: online orders flow straight into the workshop's manufacturing pipeline, no manual steps.
- Long-tail SEO targeting specific nursery-product searches.
Go-to-market strategy
- SEO + SEM combined to drive traffic and early conversions while organic rankings matured.
- Social media strategy built around the brand's own account.
- Ongoing analytics and CRO to iterate the conversion rate on real data.
The result
The store started producing consistent sales within its first year. Today it is a meaningful additional revenue stream for a company that hadn't touched an end customer in two decades. It keeps growing year over year — with no rebuild and no platform change ever needed.
