The product at a glance

Buying insurance straight from a single insurer means seeing exactly one offer. Independent brokers shop the market on the customer's behalf — yet in Spain there was no convenient way to find one nearby. MejorCorredorDeSeguros.com fills that gap: a nationwide directory of brokers and brokerages registered with the DGSFP regulator, findable by city, postcode or brokerage name.

It serves two audiences at once. Consumers and small businesses get an easy way to locate an independent intermediary; brokers get qualified visibility in front of people who are already asking for quotes.

Core features

  • Site-wide search covering city, brokerage name and postal code, wired up as a Schema.org SearchAction.
  • Broker profiles with verified contact details and a no-obligation quote request.
  • Geographic drill-down: dedicated pages for all 19 autonomous communities and every province, each showing its broker count.
  • Seven insurance-line landing pages — home, car, life, health, funeral, liability and business — targeting high-intent queries.
  • Editorial blog feeding topical authority back into the directory pages.
  • Structured data throughout so search engines understand every entity on the site.

Under the hood

The platform is fully custom — no themes, no page builders, no third-party plugins. A Laravel + PHP backend sits on a MySQL database modelled to render thousands of pages: one per broker, plus every province, community and insurance-line combination. That is programmatic SEO done properly: unique titles, descriptions and JSON-LD on each URL, generated from real data rather than boilerplate.

On the frontend, Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js compiled through Vite keep the payload tiny, which matters when hundreds of location pages compete for rankings simultaneously.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the broker data come from?

Every one of the 1,907 brokers and brokerages listed is registered with the DGSFP, Spain's insurance supervision authority (Direccion General de Seguros y Fondos de Pensiones). Profiles surface their contact details along with a no-obligation quote request.

How many insurance brokers are listed?

The homepage counter shows 1,907 brokers and brokerages spanning 52 provinces and 19 autonomous communities, Ceuta and Melilla included. Regional pages break the total down — Andalusia alone accounts for 323 professionals.

Which insurance lines does the directory cover?

Seven lines, each with its own landing page: home, car, life, health, funeral, liability, and business/SME insurance. These pages match the specific searches people actually type when looking for a broker.

Can visitors request a quote through the site?

Yes. Each broker profile includes a quote-request flow with no commitment attached, which is the directory's core conversion path: visitors arrive with intent, compare local brokers and reach out directly.
