How it was engineered
RehabDex is fully custom software: a Laravel + PHP backend over a MySQL database tuned to serve thousands of facility, state and program pages with minimal load times. No purchased themes, no plugin stack — every page is rendered from structured data.
The growth engine is programmatic SEO: thousands of unique, indexable URLs (facility, state, service type, MAT program) each with automatically generated titles, descriptions and Schema.org markup, so that every local search lands on exactly the right page.

From public-domain SAMHSA databases, the US agency for substance abuse and mental health services. RehabDex is an independent informational directory and is not affiliated with SAMHSA or any government agency.
Which treatment types can I filter by?
Five service types are covered: detox, outpatient, residential, inpatient and telehealth. On top of that, RehabDex indexes medication-assisted treatment programs — methadone, Suboxone and Vivitrol clinics.
