Frequently asked questions
What does the WordPress maintenance plan include?
Weekly plugin and theme updates, WordPress core updates, automatic daily backups stored off-site, 24/7 uptime monitoring, a monthly security scan and technical support by email with replies in under 24 hours.
How much does WordPress maintenance cost per month?
It depends on the size of the site: number of plugins, languages, and whether it runs WooCommerce or memberships. The plan is sized after a free initial audit and you receive it in writing within 24 hours, with no lock-in and everything it includes itemized. That way you pay for what your site needs — no more, no less.
Do you work with WordPress sites built by other developers?
Yes. Most of my clients arrive with a WordPress site built by another agency. I run a free initial audit to surface technical debt before the monthly contract starts.
What happens if the site goes down?
Uptime monitoring alerts me by SMS if the site returns an error or takes longer than 5 seconds to respond. During European business hours I respond in under 30 minutes; outside those hours, in under 2 hours.
Do you make changes and build new features within the plan?
The plan covers micro-changes (copy, images, minor tweaks) with a monthly bank of hours. For new development (plugins, integrations) I prepare a separate fixed quote, per project.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, no lock-in and no penalty. Payment is monthly, in advance. If you cancel, I keep your backups for 30 days in case you want to come back.
Do you support WooCommerce?
Yes. I have worked with WooCommerce since 2017: payment gateways, shipping carriers, coupons, accounting exports and migrations from Shopify or PrestaShop.
What if the site is multilingual?
No problem. I work with WPML and Polylang. Multilingual sites fall into the mid or top plan depending on plugin and language volume.
